モデル
5722-9990は、1963年に諏訪精工舎が手掛けた第2世代グランドセイコーとして登場しました。ファーストモデルと比較し、カレンダー機能やスクリューバック仕様の裏蓋を採用することで実用性を向上。ケース一体型の太いラグを備え、高い耐久性とシャープで直線的な造形を実現したモデルです。
コメント
本個体は後期型にあたり、ケースはオリジナルのエッジをしっかりと残し、摩耗の少ない良好なコンディションを維持しています。裏蓋のメダリオンも非常に良好な状態で保たれており、溝には当時の保護シールがわずかに残っています。ムーブメントは当店にて整備済みで、全体としてコンディションは良好です。

Founded in 1960 as Seiko’s highest-tier brand, Grand Seiko established its global reputation and solid standing through exceptional precision, earning top placements in observatory chronometer competitions as a high-precision mechanical watch embodying the ideal of a practical timepiece.
MODEL
The Ref. 5722-9990 was introduced in 1963 as the second-generation Grand Seiko produced by Suwa Seikosha. Compared to the first model, it enhanced practicality by incorporating a date function and a screw-back case construction. Featuring thick, integrated lugs, the case delivers improved durability along with a sharp, linear design that defines the model’s character.
COMMENT
This example is a later production model. The case retains its original sharp edges with minimal wear, maintaining a well-preserved overall condition. The caseback medallion remains in excellent condition, and traces of the original protective sticker are still visible within the grooves of the caseback. The movement has been serviced by our workshop, and the watch is in good overall condition.
