The IWC Ref. R810A was produced from the late 1960s into the early 1970s and reflects the straightforward design and solid practicality characteristic of the “Old Inter” era.
The brushed dial is in very good overall condition, with no noticeable scratches or major deterioration. A slight tonal change from age can be seen across the surface, giving it a subtle vintage character. The polished bar indexes create a clean contrast against the brushed finish and catch the light nicely. The lume on both the indexes and pencil hands remains well-preserved and shows even, natural aging.
The case is also in excellent condition, with the distinctive lugs and sharp edges still clearly defined, retaining the original proportions of the model. Despite its modest size, the well-balanced case design sits naturally and comfortably on the wrist.
Inside is IWC’s automatic Cal. 8541B, featuring the brand’s Pellaton winding system. Known for its durability and winding efficiency, it remains a highly reliable movement that performs well for everyday wear even as a vintage piece.
