The IWC Yacht Club Ref. R811AD is a sports watch believed to have been designed by Gérald Genta, featuring flowing case lines and a robust construction. With a case diameter of approximately 36mm, it offers well-balanced proportions and a subtle yet confident presence on the wrist. In this model, the movement is supported within the case by a rubber shock-absorbing system, designed to protect it from external impacts. The watch is fitted with the desirable Gay Frères Ref.13 bracelet.
Condition
The dial shows slight surface grain due to age, though there is minimal discoloration or corrosion and it remains in overall good condition. The case and bracelet show light wear and small marks consistent with normal use, and the bracelet exhibits very little stretch. The bracelet will fit wrists up to approximately 175mm. Rubber wear components such as the shock absorber have been replaced, while key details including the crown and tritium lume remain original. The movement has been overhauled by our workshop and is running well.
