デイトジャストの中でも比較的生産数の少ないスムースベゼル仕様のRef.1600。文字盤はシンプルなノンルミナス仕様のブラックギルトダイヤルです。装飾を抑えたミニマルなデザインは、フルーテッドベゼルのモデルとは異なる無骨でスポーティーな印象を与えます。ダイヤルは長い年月を経てパティナが進行しており、ヴィンテージならではの渋みを感じさせる表情へと変化しています。また、当時のギャランティが付属する点も特筆すべきポイントです。ヴィンテージロレックスにおいて当時のギャランティが残る個体は年々減少しており、コレクションとしての価値をより高める要素となっています。
Condition
文字盤には特有のパティナが見られます。針には腐食によるわずかな曇りが見られる程度です。ケースおよびブレスレットには全体として自然なスレ傷が見られますが、目立つダメージはありません。ケースエッジの摩耗もほとんど見られず、全体のフォルムは良好に保たれています。ブレスレットは経年により多少の伸びが見られますが、概ね良好な状態です。ムーブメントは当店にてオーバーホール済みで、動作は良好です。
Description
Ref.1600 is a smooth-bezel variant of the Datejust and is considered relatively less common among the model line. The watch features a simple non-luminous black gilt dial. Its restrained and minimal design gives it a more rugged and sporty character compared to the fluted-bezel models.
Over many years, the dial has developed a noticeable patina, resulting in a rich and distinctive vintage character. The understated case design combined with the aged gilt dial creates a particularly appealing presence unique to this reference.
Another noteworthy point is that the original guarantee is included. In the vintage Rolex market, examples retaining their original guarantee have become increasingly scarce, making this an element that further enhances the collectability of the watch.
Condition
The dial shows characteristic patina consistent with age. The hands display only slight dullness caused by minor corrosion. The case and bracelet show natural signs of wear with light surface scratches, but no notable damage is present. The case edges remain well preserved with minimal signs of wear, and the overall case shape is well maintained. The bracelet shows some stretch due to age but remains in overall good condition. The movement has been overhauled by our workshop and is running well.
