REF 4520-8000. Designed as a no-date, hand-wound model, its pared-back construction allows for a case thickness of just 9mm. The faceted case, defined by straight lines, reflects the design language known as the “Seiko Style,” a silhouette that came to symbolise Grand Seiko during the period. This example has been refinished to the case and fitted with a display caseback, presented as a restored configuration.
Condition
The dial and hands show only minor signs of age and remain in good overall condition. The case has been refinished, with no noticeable scratches visible, and the edges and overall proportions remain well defined. The caseback has been replaced with a third-party display back; the original solid caseback is not included. The movement has been overhauled, is running steadily, and functions as intended.
