A 1968 Grand Seiko Ref. 4522-8000, commonly known as the 45GS. This model is defined by its sharp case lines and precisely faceted indexes and hands—design elements that were later formalized as the “Seiko Style” and continue to influence modern Grand Seiko. The production period was relatively short, and well-preserved examples have become increasingly difficult to source.
This example retains the crisp case edges characteristic of the 45GS. The dial, caseback engravings, and medallion are all in good condition. The movement has been serviced by our workshop.
