Description

1968年製のグランドセイコー Ref.4522-8000、通称45GSです。エッジの効いたケースラインと、シャープに面取りされたインデックスおよび針を特徴とするモデルで、これらの意匠は後に「セイコースタイル」として体系化され、現在のグランドセイコーにも受け継がれています。製造期間は短く、良好な状態の個体は年々入手が難しくなっています。

本個体は、45GSを象徴するケースエッジをしっかりと残しており、文字盤、裏蓋の刻印、メダリオンの状態も良好です。ムーブメントは当店にて整備済みです。

A 1968 Grand Seiko Ref. 4522-8000, commonly known as the 45GS. This model is defined by its sharp case lines and precisely faceted indexes and hands—design elements that were later formalized as the “Seiko Style” and continue to influence modern Grand Seiko. The production period was relatively short, and well-preserved examples have become increasingly difficult to source.

This example retains the crisp case edges characteristic of the 45GS. The dial, caseback engravings, and medallion are all in good condition. The movement has been serviced by our workshop.
