1965年に国産初のダイバーズウォッチを発表して以来、北極やエベレストといった過酷な環境下で信頼性を証明してきたセイコーは、その質実剛健な造りと独創的なデザインにより、現在も世界中のダイバーやコレクターからツールウォッチの完成形として高く評価されています。

モデル

1970年にセカンドダイバーの後期型として登場したREF.6105-8110は、「植村ダイバー」や「キャプテン・ウィラード」の愛称で親しまれているモデルです。4時位置に配された大きなリューズガードを備える、非対称ケースデザインが大きな特徴とされています。

コメント

1974年4月製造のわずかな個体にのみ確認されている、希少な3スロットクラウン仕様です。ケースおよびガラスには使用に伴う傷や使用感が見られますが、文字盤や針のコンディションは良好で、経年を考慮しても整った状態を保っています。 リューズロック機構も正しく機能しており、ムーブメントは当店にてオーバーホール済みです。

Since introducing Japan’s first diver’s watch in 1965, Seiko has proven its reliability in extreme environments such as the Arctic and Mount Everest, and its robust construction and distinctive design continue to be highly regarded by divers and collectors worldwide as a benchmark of the tool watch.

MODEL

Introduced in 1970 as the later iteration of Seiko’s second-generation diver, Ref. 6105-8110 is a model affectionately known as the Uemura Diver or the Captain Willard. It is distinguished by its asymmetrical case design, featuring a prominent crown guard positioned at 4 o’clock.

COMMENT

This example features the rare three-slot crown configuration, observed only on a limited number of pieces manufactured in April 1974. The case and crystal show signs of wear consistent with use, while the dial and hands remain in good condition, presenting a well-preserved appearance considering its age. The crown locking mechanism functions correctly, and the movement has been overhauled by our workshop.
